Ruby: Why aren't we outside?
Ruby's wearing: Dress c/o Misha Lulu. Pants, Wal-Mart. Leg warmers, Target (cut-off adult socks). Sweater, Old Navy. Jacket, thrifted by my friend, Rachel. Vintage snow boots, borrowed from Amy. Owl hat, bzzyfingers on Etsy.
All she wanted to do was eat the snow so we had a little talk about what yellow snow meant. We stayed out longer than it took for us to get bundled up. It was pretty fun.

She so cute! Snow days are fun and always remind me of being a kid:)
Oh, and don't worry, we don't get very much snow here in Colorado, and if we do, it melts right away! :)

Your daughter has the best facial expressions! Like, ever. Haha. We have way more snow than we're used to Victoria, BC right now and Im making the same face as that first one wondering when it's going to leave. Haha.

Her little snowman is adorable! We're in North Dakota and just barely got an inch and a half of snow, but it's been wayyyy too cold to go out and play in. It's crazy since we moved here almost exactly a year ago and I had to wade through 6 feet of snow to inspect our house! Weird winter.
You guys will love Colorado! It's gorgeous.

She is such a little character! You really feel like you can get her personality from photos because she has the best expressions. Love the big photo with her profile and the mitten.

What a lovely time! I live in southern Cali and I've been desperately waiting for snow on the mountains. My boys were sick last winter and by the time they were well again, all the snow was gone.
This year my boys are all healthy, but no snow! =)

Your snowman is adorable :) I live a few hours north of you and our snow was too powdery to make a snowman! We sure tried though. That owly hat is super cute.

So cute!! Ruby is a doll! Her outfit is so cute. My daughter jumps up when I tell her it snowed. She gets the biggest grin on her face and then rushes to the nearest window.

Yesterday in Denver was a shorts and shirt day for me ... quite warm out, we were saying to ourselves "now THIS is why we love Colorado." We do get cold spells but they are usually brief, same for snow storms. Occasionally we'll have a monster snow storm, I think the last big one was in March of '03...somewhere around 5 feet fell in a couple days. But that's rare! And have you visited the websites for some of our local hot springs? They are a super fun thing to do if it IS cold and snowy:)
