What I Wore: Nashville, TN

Brett and I stopped in Nashville on our way home from his graduation and then hit up a few highly recommended coffee shops and antique stores. It was a quick little stop but we managed to see enough to feel like we'd done Nashville. A speed tour.

The darling Sarah of Arrow and Apple knows Nashville like nobody's business so when she said to visit The Frothy Monkey and Crema, we obeyed! While we were there, another handful suggested we visit both through Instagram so it's unanimous. If you go to Nashville, visit those two.

I'm wearing: Dress c/o ModCloth. Bomber jacket and cardigan, Target. Tights, H&M. Belt, F21. Wedges, ModCloth. Glasses, Sid & Nancy.

I vote we go back to Nashville again.

Wow Rachel you look so pretty you are on such an adventure. I have never been but when Joe and I have our road trip across America Nashville is high on our list so it is great to hear about good spots to visit when we get there.

Can you suggest any cool towns or cities to visit that aren't on the tourist hit list?

you look so lovely and those glasses were made for you! i'm glad to hear you were able to experience a little bit of nashville...some of my favorite spots are all located in hillsboro village on 21st ave...for coffee there's fido (and amazing food too!) and my favorite little store is called pangaea. it is a quirky little boutique...there are several little fun shops and book stores along the street. that's just one of my favorite spots in nashville :)

I live in Nashville, and I'm so happy someone suggested Crema to you. Definitely the best in Nashville! What antique stores did you find? I'm new to the area, so I'm still searching for the best ones.

Also, the most tourist-y, yet also the best place to visit food wise is the Pancake Pantry. You will have to stand in line, but it goes fast, and is definitely worth it. Get the sweet potato pancakes...trust me!:) It's in hillsboro village (someone mentioned above.)

i'm from nashville! my favorite vintage/antique shops are pre to post modern on 8th south and rare bird (which is a little out of town but amazing and worth it). i love eating at baja burrito, the smiling elephant (really good thai), and monell's(good southern meat and three. nashville is awesome.
