I went exploring through the Colorado Springs outdoor swap meet a few weekends ago and came home with some goodies. One of my favorite purchases, however, were two wood-grain covered photo albums from what seemed to be a college aged guy. One album was full of funny photos of him and his friends or possibly brothers and the other was full of more traditional family photos, snapshots of the Presbyterian church they were a part of, and holiday photos. I am placing my bets that this was a preacher's kid. Takes one to know one.
If there had been some sort of name included in these photos you can bet your rear end I'd be tracking this guy down to see if he wanted his photos back. There was a bulletin inside about their new building fundraiser. Wouldn't it be a kick to contact the secretary and dig through records to see if we can figure out who this is?
Have you ever stumbled across someone else's life in photos? Do you tend to get creeped out or find yourself making up stories and speculating about what they were like?
