I'm feeling so motivated right now to come up with solutions for making our new rental feel like a home instead of just shrugging my shoulders and longing for the day we can own our own home. We signed a two year lease partly because we wanted to feel like we have enough time to settle in, nail some holes in the walls, and justify putting in a backyard lawn. We don't own our home but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy it almost as much as if we did!
This week I'm working on two more DIY's from our backyard and have two more I'm developing in my head as I source materials. We spent most of Saturday tilling, seeding, and composting our yard so once our lawn has successfully established itself I'll be sharing a full backyard makeover post.
