I have been on a separates kick lately after finding a handful of fun shirts at a thrift store. They're all stripes and polka-dots and are perfect for mixing with prints.
Myself: Thrifted, vintage blouse. Handmade skirt from vintage dress. Shoes, Target. Vintage folding bag, thrifted. Belt, thrifted. Ring and sunglasses c/o ModCloth.
Ruby: Dress c/o Misha Lulu. Shoes, Gordman's.
Ruby picked out her outfit this morning again. I gave her the choice of red Saltwater's or mocs but she demanded to wear these shoes from last winter. The girl has opinions and who am I to get in the way of her fashion sense if it is, indeed, sensible.
This is the part where she's mugging me.
Can we talk about a good hair day? I've been blow drying my hair every now and then to give it more volume but my curls get pretty coiled when I do so I have to pull it back into a loose pony tail when I'm done to help things loosen up a bit. We all have our odd hair routines, right? RIGHT?
Also, I love this shirt but the middle button comes undone without warning despite a safety pin in place. I guess that's one way to make new friends in Colorado Springs!
Do you like mixing and matching patterns? What are your favorite combos? Stripes and florals, polka-dots and prints?
