Hiya everybody; my name is Niki. Easily amused and blessed with the ability to find joy in the tiny details around us all, I am the owner/designer of NikCo, making beauty and whimsy for everyday life.
A collector and avid wearer of vintage jewelry since my teens, it made me sad to see beautiful things from the past in disrepair and headed for the landfill so I’d save the bits and bobs and reimagine them into whole modern pieces. Last year I made an art goal to create an entire line of repurposed jewelry. The ReWearables line was launched in early 2012 with necklaces, bracelets, rings and pierced earrings born from lovelies of the past. I also have another line of jewelry called Quirkees, and offer handmade paper goods.
Today, NikCo can be found on-line and on location at Baltimore/Washington area craft shows featuring ReWearables, Quirkees and various paper goods. Each piece is hand-made and one of a kind. I want to add beauty and whimsy to the whole world, one pair of earrings at a time.
