(playing catch up again)
She may be little but she's quick!
The other night we had stir fry chicken and vegetables for dinner which was classified by Sebastian as a 'new food' that he didn't want to try. We all sat down to eat and Ruby and I were done within ten minutes. We sat with Sebastian for a bit to encourage him to eat his dinner but he threw a fit so he was sent to his room for five minutes. I told him I expected him to come back and be ready to take two bites or else have another early bed time.
He had hardly plopped down on his bed when I looked over and saw Ruby eating the food off his plate! You'd think I hadn't fed her all day the way she put that chicken down. No leftovers meant he'd gotten off easy with a little help from his hungry sister.
I wonder if they plan these things.

Saw a cute idea on pinterest the other day for finicky eaters! When you make something new (or old) that they don't want to try, you have them roll a dice and whatever number comes up is how many bites they have to take in order to leave the table! Thought that was a pretty cute idea, since it can kind of be a game for the kids!

What is it with the little ones? My 1 1/2 year old eats more than my 4 year old. Ruby is too cute!
