I was able to capture one of Ruby's favorite sayings these days in this easy paint chip art project. It's an easy way to add color to a child's room or fill a blank wall and can be finished while catching up on your favorite shows on Hulu. I've shared the full tutorial on A Beautiful Mess.
What would you want yours to say?
xo,
Rachel
I loved this tutorial, I will definitely be doing this! Thanks for the inspiration!

This is such a cute idea! I have no idea what mine would say---maybe I could hang it by the front door and have it say "Welcome"!

I was actually thinking about that when I first saw this post on Elsie's blog! I still haven't decided, though :)

Love this so much! I grabbed some paint chips the other day to make a Christmas garland, so I will definitely have to try this too!

My kid only says lalalala and dadada..do you think that would be a problem? Ha ha

I saw this on ABM and I just love the color choices you made! It looks effortless but I'm sure it wasn't.
My almost 2 yr old son loves to say "thank you"--I think that would be a sweet reminder to have on the wall!

I haven't thought up a phrase yet but this is definitely on my to-do list. I pinned it to Pinterest so I won't forget!

I saw this on A Beautiful Mess and I loved it!! I still haven't given it a try...mostly because I can't figure out what I want it to say. I'm indecisive! I think I want to have it say "Smile" and hang it in my art studio because that is where I go to destress. =)

Oh my gosh, ths is soooo awesome!
Especially for a color loving girl like myself.
I'm looking ahead to 10 days of my husband being gone for work (noting compared to yours--but I feel you in my tiny way over here) and this might be a fun project for when I am up late unable to sleep.
Can't wait to try it out.
Thanks so much for sharing.
I love, love, love your blog!
Love from,
Greta

This is such a wonderful idea! I'm going to make one for my house and then try and figure out how I can make it a kid friendly craft for storytime when I read about art in January. Hmmm.....
