We rarely arrive back home from a trip to my parents' before the sun goes down but this trip, in the thick of summer, brought us in during the golden hour. I asked the kids if they wanted to go pick flowers and they said no. Then I asked them who would pick flowers for a dollar and next thing you know they were frollicking through the sunflowers on the side of the road.
They found some cacti and Sebastian ran circles around Ruby while she collected wildflowers. I just kept focusing on them and aiming at the sun. These are my new favorites.
