When I first saw it all I could think about is that it looked like the love child of the first Nintendo gaming system and a vintage projecter. I love the way it fits in my palm and the novelty of projecting some of my favorite family photos via Instagram onto the wall. I loaded my complimentary Projecteo with images of the kids and a few of Brett and I together with hopes of sending it in his next care package but the kids have taken it hostage. Sebastian even took it to show and tell at school last week.
In case you haven't already heard about these little machines, Projecteos are basically mini, handheld projecters. You choose some photos from Instagram to be added to a slide wheel, they develop them, and send you your very own slide show. You can change out your wheels, too! You press the red button to turn the light on and then hold it near a smooth surface in the dark. There's even a way to focus to get the most clear photo possible.
I love the idea of sending one full of photos with a friend who may be moving away, a loved one serving overseas, or even just with a child on their first over night stay at a friend's. What if you made one with a surprise message instead of just photos? Hello, engagement idea! If you're already planning your Christmas gifts, this may be a fun one to add to the list.
Projecteo wants to give one Projecteo along with a single wheel of images to a lucky Smile and Wave reader! To enter for a chance to win I want to know what kind of images you'd fill your wheel with-of friends, your dog, selfies, etc. I also need an active link or way to contact you if you're chosen.
One winner will be announced by Friday, October 4th. Good luck!

What an amazing little invention. I love the idea of loading it with pics of my family and friends around me and mailing it to someone I love far away. Maybe even start a trend of sending it back and forth with new little memories. Pen Pal 2013 style!!!
