It's been a few years since I've been ready for a new swimsuit as I skipped a whole summer of swimming while in my first trimester with Smith and then only worked up the courage to venture out in it twice last summer since I was still carrying around most of my pregnancy weight. When Lime Ricki asked if I was interested in reviewing a swimsuit from their spring collection I decided it was time to go for something flirty and fabulous!
I've made my way down to smaller than my pre-pregnancy weight before Smith and even before Ruby. It felt really good to order a size I haven't worn since 2009. Seriously, guys. It felt even better to not only feel like I looked good in a swimsuit but that it wasn't a boring mom suit.
Some of Lime Ricki's suits are built for smaller bust sizes so I did make sure to choose one that would accommodate for the fact that I'm still nursing. I loved the detail of the cut of the suit as well as the frills near the top and the minor distraction that they provided around my middle. I love the color and the vintage-inspired design as well as the way it keeps things feeling covered and supported in all of the right places.
Ordering swimsuits online sounds a little trickier than trying them on in a store but I do think it's safe to order two sizes, figure out which fits best, and return the other. I did that with my last suit when I ordered them from another online shop and it was so much more convenient than hauling kids to the mall and not finding my size in the suits I liked best anyways.
Online shopping is a mama's best friend sometimes, am I right?
Well, you are in luck, ladies! Lime Ricki is not only offering 15% OFF to all Smile and Wave readers with the code SMILEWAVE until May 10th, but they are giving away a suit to one lucky winner!
You get to choose from any of the suits in their collection if you're chosen so be sure to leave a comment below sharing which one is your favorite! Also, I need to have a way to contact you if you're chosen so be sure your link is working or leave an e-mail. A winner will be chosen later this week.
Thanks to Lime Ricki for such a fun giveaway!
-Rachel
I have gone into a Lime Ricki store before to try and find something for me since they are more modest and still fun.
I am on the other side of the spectrum in that I am a smaller gal but with a BIG chest. Maybe someone at Lime Ricki could help me pick one that could keep me covered?

I am LOVING the convertible strap umbrella tankini top print and style! That would definitely be my fit if I won this giveaway. I had to giggle when I read your description of the last couple summers because I was in the exact same boat. Two summers ago I was just starting my third trimester, and last summer I was still self conscious about my post-baby bod. This summer I feel fab and am ready for some new suits!

I love the umbrella peplum one piece! But they're all dreamy! And look like they might hide my post-baby muffin top. ;)

Digging the ruched navy geo one-piece but I might like the one you picked out even more. That color!

I was just looking online at this exact suit a few days ago. It's really cute!

that suit is adorable. i love the little ruffles around the top. i keep finding myself drawn to simple one piece suits this year. something that's not going to get tangled or look weird once it gets wet like some of the ones that have skirts, etc.

The one that you got, the double ruffle one piece, is lovely! I wish it came in other colors. Red would be perfection!

I love the Princess Peplum Umbrellas Tankini Top: http://www.limericki.com/princess-peplum-umbrellas-tankini-top/! I recently tried to order a swimsuit online (my first time ever), and it was just a bad experience all around. I'd love to be able to try again with one of these cute suits! :)

I love Lime Ricki swimsuits. I got one a couple years ago and I still get compliments on it whenever I wear it! I really like all the shirred tops and peplum tops, but my favorite right now is the CINCH-NECK BLOCK FLORAL TANKINI TOP.

I'd have to say that I love the one you picked Rachel. The Double Ruffle Navy One Piece. I just gave birth to my fourth girl and my nursing boobies don't fit into the suit I have. I'm in desperate need in finding a flattering suit and this looks like the ticket! Xo Crystal Grier
